We Provide Confidential Information to Qualified Buyers
 
Objective

Once we have qualified a prospective buyer and he or she has signed a confidentiality agreement, we provide the buyer with the information he or she needs to decide if a detailed investigation is justified.

 
The Steps
  1. We provide the buyer with the name and location of your business, along with the website address if you have one.
  2. We provide the buyer with a Confidential Business Profile, which is the primary selling document for your business.
  3. We answer any follow up questions the buyer may have.
Considerations

While the information needs to paint a positive picture, it is best that we introduce any problems with the business (and all businesses have them) along with the great things about your business early in the process. This not only lends credibility to the positive things we say about your business, but also reduces the chances that the prospective buyer will walk away when he or she finds the problems himself or herself.
