You Meet With Buyers
 
Objective

The purpose of meeting with prospective buyers is for them to get a sense of your business and some insight on what it takes to make your business successful. It is also a chance for you to decide if want to sell the business to them.

 
The Steps

Once the buyer has had time to understand your business through the Confidential Business Profile and the answers we have provided, we schedule a meeting between you and the buyer, with us acting as the facilitator.

If possible, the meeting is usually set up at your business after hours.

Prospective buyers will probably ask you a lot of questions which will start with "why" or "how". Our business sale system provides you with an opportunity to see and answer beforehand questions buyers are likely to ask.

 
Considerations

Prospective buyers will be looking for any inconsistencies between what they have been told to date and what you say in the meeting. It is best to prepare for this meeting by reviewing the answers you have given us in our business sale system.
